Aligning with our mission, DHCDC will continue to work to increase the number of affordable housing units available for the elderly and individuals with disabilities in the District of Columbia, through the development and redevelopment of multi-unit residential properties in the city.

DHCDC will grow partnerships with organizations that have a similar mission and focus to amplify our advocacy on behalf of vulnerable District residents and foster collaborations that can better address issues that are most pressing for them.

With an eye towards enriching the living experience of individuals who reside in our properties and throughout the communities we serve, DHCDC will expand its development of multi-generational programs for seniors, adults and children that will have the added benefit of strengthening the community.
